You can see the Emmanuel Bell from the top. You will also see the tower faade up close, where you can view gargoyles and others dating back to the 13th century. As with a visit to the Treasury, varied rates and hours do apply. There are no elevators inside, so a walk to the top is required and that journey can be long. There are 387 steps total.
The Cathedrale of Notre Dame de Paris is also home to the Archaeological Crypt of Parvis de Notre-Dame. In 1965, various buildings in Paris were evacuated. Pieces of these buildings and the treasures they housed inside are located here. The Musee Carnavalet, a well-known museum located nearby, maintains the site.
As a reminder, the Cathedrale of Notre Dame de Paris is a Roman Catholic church; however, you do not have to share the same religious beliefs to enjoy a visit to the church.
